In this 6-hour workshop, you will be exploring the art of textiles through the traditional stained glass copper-foil method. Combining classic quilting patterns with glass, you will have the opportunity to focus on technique refinement and embellishments. This class is a great fit for someone who has a basic understanding of the stained glass process or someone who is an artistic, quick-learner.
You will have the choice of a pattern and emphasis will be placed on color scheme/glass selection, solder and wire details (if desired), finishing with lead came, cleaning and patina application
Note: If you are a beginner who has never worked with glass before, one of my 3-hour make-and-take workshops will be better suited for you!
Pattern selection and finishing details dependent on time/experience (at the discretion of the instructor).
Most materials will be included (if you want a specific glass not provided, you can buy it here).
Basic glass tools will be provided, but if you have your own favorite tools, please bring them with you.
Adults only for this workshop
